again, havent updated in quite a bit. basically did nothing yesterday. babysat this morning and made money. then went to providence to celebrate mels EIGHTEENTH b-day! how crazy!

despite the 2.5 hr wait at cheesecake factory, we managed to eat at fire and ice. and it was mucho fun. my friends are INSANE (coughcoughEMILYcoughcough) and as always, gooood times and yummy food. and then we ate cheesecake while sitting on the floor of the mall. and took PLENTY of pictures. i love us.

tomorrow is my last sunday of przodr classes EVER. AHHH. sooooo sad! and then we have a pdor graduation rehearsal and lunch. and we get our yearbooks.

and i forgot to mention that at school the seniors pretty much had the most amazing prank ever - they built a cinder block wall across the main hallway. and during chem nick and serge built melanie a dog and a hat out of wooden models of carbon and oxygen. and itwas amazing.

and thats the story of my life.

hey so i havent updated in a REALLY long time. wow.

i've been driving some places on my own- its pretty exciting. and my mommy found some incredible jewelry my grandmother got in greewich village when she was like...20. its AMAZING.

schools been good, AP test was interesting (yeah, essay about women in the 1700s...what?!) SAT's were good....otherwise ehh. lets see - after the sats me, mel, alyssa, anna, and emily went to friendly's. sooo fun. and ate a TON. theennnn....dance comp on sunday. we did sort of well, but SO annoying that we were only ONE point off from a gold. and then volunteering at prozbowl.

and i've decided i really like bob kraft. he told us volunteers that he hated prozdor and that all the teachers were over 70 and there was this "cute girl" and the two of them used to skip almost every week. and i was like AHHH i love when old people tell stories like that. sooo funny. and he wanted to take a pic with us. which was also kind of exciting.

this week has been icky. nothing really exciting happened, it POURED, and i toured brown in the rain. good thing i like brown in the rain. it was actually AMAZING, but it sucked to have to walk in the rain for an hour. and in school fazzio came and sang woody guthrie songs to us and ms gattone was singing. soo funny. and it was very sad mr fish wasnt there for 2 days in a row.

and now its finally friday! yay! aand scotts bar mitzvah tomorrow. aand seeing emma for the first time in a long time. aaaaand then sunday is pdor. which i havent been to in a while either. and thats the story of my life. i must go fof to do my TONS of english hw. and my poetry proj due this week

such a packed weekend ahead of me, i can't wait.

sad i'm not going to spring conventiont with all my usy people, but ehh. i miss people but i think its okay. GOOD LUCK everyone though whos running for board, too bad i can't be there to vote for you! i hope everyone has a great time.

so weekend - heres the schedule.

SATURDAY- 7:30 am ROAD TEST (so psyched i'll be able to drive FINALLY)
11:00 am Tour of Brandeis (my parents are crazy, not even kidding)
5:30 pm Annas for pre-prom festivities
6:00 pm PROM!!! (CANT WAIT AHHH)

SUNDAY- not waking up early, then studying for AP.
1:30 pm Babysitting until 5

HOW CRAZY IS THAT. ohh man i cant wait its so exciting. i miss spring convention, but look at all the things im doing instead! im getting my liscence!!!!! hahaha

so- spring people, take plenty of pictures. and pretend i'm there, even though i'm not. because i dont want people forgetting i exist because i have this really random paranoid fear that thats gonna happen i'm not really sure why. but i hope ppl have an amazing time. and pay attention to some of the beautiful name tags on the dais, because i helped with them even though i didnt go. and check out the sharon banner...excuse me its amazing. not even gonna lie. AHHH.

well thats about it. i will go back to listening to music and looking up college stuff. and not thinking about how i failed the dbq today because i sort of didnt answer the question correctly. sweet.

so, this could possibly be the longest vacation EVER. not even kidding.

college touring in maine was a total dissapointment. bowdoin was sort of good until i realized that NOONE actually goes there. wayy too small and everyone knows everyone and its kind of just like sharon. and colby was so good UNTIL we realized that since its in the middle of nowhere, basically all people do there is drink. and the social/academic life is super unbalanced.

blech college. basically i think i have a pretty final list now, i just have a few more to tour down in pennsylvania. otherwise, im pretty much set. now i only have to take the sat's and the ap exam (which are both NEXT WEEK might i add) and finish this yr and get through the summer and actually ask for reccomendations. oyy.

and i was just looking at the website for my summer program and i am SO BEYOND excited. eeek!! its going to be so much fun. and i get to spend the summer with people who enjoy US History as much as i do because i am just that cool. and we get to do archeological digs at plantations and learn 1700s dances and its just going to be a blast. i can't wait.

and todays the last day of vacation and its not sunny and its raining. which is pretty much the worst way to end vacation ever. i must call gilli tomorrow to schedule my road test. and i must finish my poetry project. and do some AP work.

but for now, i think the television is calling my name.

AHH amazing weekend. saturday night went to eves and hung out w/lauren. made spring convention dais cards and watched the ten commandments. and a show about all these food factories i went to on wheels. and then eve and i made potato latkes and watched "in her shoes." woke up sunday - which was easter - and we went to the movies to see "Take the Lead." WHICH was A-Mazing. ahhhh. i wish i could ballroom dance, looks like so much fun. maybe i should just bust a move at prom and count how many people laugh at me hahahaha. and we made our own caramel to bring passover food to the movies because we are that amazing. and it actually came out good!

then went to arielles to start our reenactment party with lauren, eve, mara, emma, and hannah. watched "mad hot ballroom" as a followup to take the lead. except whiel take the lead was based on a true story, mad hot ballroom was a documentary of 5th graders. and then all 6 of us danced aroudn the room pretending we were in the movie. SO FUN. ahhhh. we are too cool. ate matzah pizza made by emma and played "which revolutionary war general would you want to marry" and "which is your favorite war," both invented by mara. then we watched "pride and prejudice" which is also amazing because i love that movie and i love jane austen and i love mr darcy. aaaand then we actually went to sleep at 12:00. BUT, we woke up at 4 for the reenactment! yay! and i didnt really get 4 hrs of sleep, because arielles dog decided to come downstairs and walk into the computer so it would magically turn on and play music at 3 am. not cool benjamin, watch where youre going next time. but so anyway 4 am wakeup. 4:30 walking to lexington battle green. yay. in the dark. with our flashlight and our apple cake and box of tamtams. and we almost got run over by a company of minutemen.

at the reenactment we actually had good seats sort of. except some obnoxious kidsi nthe front row brought a ladder and decided to block EVERYONES view. so the guy talked, then the british came...and i saw some guys carry john hancocks chest across the green. the generals yelled at each other a little, then there was a "skirmish" and basically the minutemen ran away. and 4 people died. which was hysterical, because they were trying to be dramatic and in doing so fell over and rolled around for a bit before actually "dying" in a really random position. then some hessians came, and then they started to march to concord for the real battle. but not before stopping for photos and some pancakes. i have to say, its quite funny seeing a recoat walk into a church to eat pancakes and then get into a car. ohh dear. and then we went back to arielles, where we saw ourselves on the news for 2 seconds before they decided to start showing the marathon. we got back to her house at 7 am...it was quite ridiculous. but SO fun. i love living in massachusetts. we are such a cool state that we have our own holiday and dress up and "relive the birth of our nation!" and i saw paul revere. whoooo.

watched "newsies" and sang. of course. funfunfun. and then came home. and it wasnt even 11 am yet. so i did some hw, and then took a nap b/c i only got 3.5 hrs of sleep. and THEN i FINISHED MY PROZDOR YRBOOK PAGE. which is AMAZING. and my all time favorite picture is on it - heres the link. it really is cool. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/yellybellychic77/detail?.dir=a801&.dnm=ac5dre2.jpg&.src=ph

and now im watching "oklahoma!" because thats pretty much what i do. watch movies. im such an interesting person sometimes i scare myself. and tomorrow i have my LAST DRIVING HOUR EVER before iget a liscence. which i will hopefully do in the next week or so. and then i get to go make the spring convention banner at shanas, and then im not sure what. maybe some hw. or packing for MAINE! ahhh. im quite excited even though were going to tour colby and bowdoin. but any trip to maine is fun, no matter why you go.

and so thats that. i must get back to my favorite musical.

ahh its vacation! yay!!!

seders were incredible, as expected...
first night con mis chicos favoritos at the weinbergs house. SO much fun. spoke en espanol because we are that cool, ate ALOT even though i dont like gefilte fish and chopped liver which iS NOT weird btw, joked, helped josh study for AP, laughed, and pretty much just had an amazing time. i love my boys. good times, good times. can't wait till next year.

driving hours ICK. i almost DIED in gillis car because these stupid stoughton drivers were going like 70 miles an hour through a corner gas station to cut us off as we were slowing down for a red light. gilli SLAMMED on her brake, thank god, and wrote down their license plate number. it was SO SCARY. and then i HATE her car because its overly sensitive and i dont know how to control the speed because i can basically either go 40 miles an hour or i can be completely stopped. either way, its bad. good thing today i went with vitali. it was a nice self esteem boost after gilli almost had me in tears yesterday. vitali has a NORMAL car. and i can actually drive. and i was good. and YES. but thank god i only have 2 hrs of drivers ed left EVER. and itsa ll in the next 4 days. im excited to just be done.

went shopping with shana today though, for banner stuff. whohooo joann fabrics. funn. and cant wait till our mother daughter coffee run next week. yayy.

and glad its the weekend, even though i have driving early tmorrow. ssleeping at eves tomorrow, then at arielles sunday. YES IM SO PSYCHED ITS GOING TO BE AMAZING AHHH. wow. ohhh man.

glad theres no school, even though im stuck here doing chem hw. and i have to make my prozdor page. and my poetry poroject. and my core essay. because im skipping pdor that day for prom. yay.

prom in TWO WEEKS. ahhhh. too bad i dont have a date yet, because, well, if you know me ive probably told you. i mean, i KNOW what was/is goign to happen. i mean, dude, GET ON IT. proms in 2 weeks already, youre kind of running out of time. (i dont know why im sayin YOU though, because im pretty sure this person doesnt read my lj considering i dont know his sn...) but yes. AHH. i mean, i was this close to having a date, and kind of still am. but oyy vey.

and thats about it. im hungry. i must go eat some yummy passover food...aka fried matzah balls. WHICH are amazing. so...later.

hmmm, what has been going on in my life...

friday was a good day. especially after my 3 tests on thursday, that was ridiculous. went outside for chem, sooooooo fun. giant periodic tables are kind of fun, and so is being outside.

then alyssas at night, b/c she came back from FRANCE. AHHHH. and brought me a GIANT swiss chocolate bar that got me sick because i ate too much. my mom said its because of the special swioss cows that make really rich milk and then gave me a tummyache. damn swiss cows...
watched the sweetest thing, ate chinese food with alyssas mom, and chilled.

saturday did an entire practice SAT. AHHHH. good thing i got good scores, becuase it took me 4 hours. grrr. then family game night at the setos. played video games for i dunno, 3 hrs, and then played apples to apples. AND I WON! I NEVER WIN! TAKE THAT BUS D!!!!! hahahahaaaaa ohhh man. it made me sad because i miss BusD SO MUCH. i miss this summer and i miss wheels and i miss playing apples to apples with everyone. tear. im not even joking.

pdor esta manana, and bob kraft was there. and josh in core was like "guys, bil said bob kraft might come visit our class again, so be prepared. just because a multi-billionaire is breathing the same air as you doesnt mean you have to get all excited." and dani, berk, and i went on a hunt for the juggling boy outside in the courtyard, but didnt find him. instead, we found bob kraft in a bright blue sweater. it made me smile.

and thats about it. cant wait for VACA nextweek, especially SUNDAY and the reenactment with the girls. yayy. have the rest of my driving hours this week, so hopefully lisence in 2 weeks or so. and passover! 1st seder at the weinbergs con mis chicos favoritos should be very very fun. im looking forward to it. laughs and good food. cant wait.

and now i must be off to finish the mountain of AP hw. and find a ruler to do my prelab. oyysh.

hmmm update.

went temple on saturday - fun - havent been in a longgg time, i forgot how much i love jews! then dance competition - AHHHHHHHH SO FRUSTURATING. maybe next year we should just not wear clothing and maybe we'll get a high score. i think thast probably the way to go. grrrrrr judges are stupid. and i hate all the superficial people at dance comps who are always like "nice job!" or "good luck!!!" with that HUGE smile that you know is fake and they sound sooo nice but you know that deep down theyre really wishing you trip and fall or something during your dance. did not go as well as i had planned. but hey, i had fun performing and i guess thats really all that matters anyway.

sunday - pdor! hell hebrew exam 1st and 2nd period - listening comp..what?! i got the first two dialogues completely, the 3rd was iffy and then the 4th i understood the dialogue but not the responses in the multiple choice questions...and then the fifth one was a complete disaster and i understood absolutely NOTHING. shellie circled random answers and was writing notes to max and i during the exam. it was kind of hilarious. and then we went to see this hadassah presentation at the lsjcc, and no, it does not mean lincoln-sudbury. way to be, guys. laraine newman fron the original snl cast was there - and she surprisingly was kind of a boring speaker. and becca ballon was there from sorority life b/c of her jewish sorority on it and basically how mtv screwed them over. and then we watched clips from everwood and will and grace because those are "jewish shows" on right now. fun fun fun. and arielle and i matched.

and the two laurens might join arielle and i for out little "excursion" to lexington center on patriots day. three cheers for nerds! im SO EXCITED for this reenactment, its kind of ridiculous. i love being a nerd, its awfully fun.

then out to lunch for my bros bday. and i saw EZRA there. SO WEIRD. ther ewas this kid in front of me and i was like "hey, that kid is wearing the same shirt exra was today!" and guess who it was?! ahhhh such a small world. its so fun.

and then i did AP hw FOREVER. ahhhhhhhhhhh. and then school today and more hw and the stupid chem lab with drawing and i hate crayons now. except serge had this epiphany in the middle of class and was like "hey guys! good news! the crayons are NON TOXIC!" and then nick and i were like "well good thing i'm hungry! now i know i wont starve!" and then we started talking about how cool it would be if there was a country where crayons were a delicacy. oyy. and now im here. and i have to go to dance. so im out.

updating again after almost a week.

ap hw stinks. and mr brandes class is mean and its all their fault that we now have quizzes everyday. geez louise, i mean cmon guys, just do your homework. blech. thank god theres only 4 weeks until the exam. soo soon.

hmmm yesterday courtney and i were wearing the EXACT SAME THING not even planned, it was pretty intense. i mean, what are the chances of us both wearing black gauchos, a bright blue shirt, black sweater, our hair in half ponies, glasses, AND A SHELL NECKLACE. it was CRAZY i tell you.

today mulcahy was our spanish sub - ohh man. i think she told us who was going to espana with her once for every person in the class. AHH. she is SO ANNOYING. i thought after last yr was over i wouldnt have to deal with her again...but nooooo. oyyy vey. it cracks my up.

1st dance competition tommorrow - which should defintely be an adventure. no costumes, but three cheers for cutoff shorts. and my velvet dress and silver bugle. yess. hopefully we might actually do well for a change...

alsp templing it up tomorrow morn...def havent been to my own shul in MONTHS. its about time i showed up haha.

and then mas y mas tarea. SO MUCH TO DO. its all for ap. and KENNER. oh how i hate her. except i like labs, and for this one we get to use crayons. maybe it will actually be fun! yayy!

and thats about it for now. bro's bday manana so on sunday we get to go to the cheescake factory. soo psyched. i love that place.

and CONGRATS SHANA FOR GETTING INTO BOSTON UNIVERSITY!!!!!! AHHHH!!!! yay...im so going to hockey games with you next year. i dont care what you say, i think im inviting myself. im sooo happy for you!!!

weekend update: TONS OF AP HOMEWORK. but i finished most of it friday night because thast ALL i did, so thats good. finished the chapter book too. AND. AMY is back from ISRAEL. which is amazing. i'm kind of excited. yay. lauren, lauren, and i stayed up late, watched elizabethtown, ate lucky charms, and talked about boys. much fun. girl nights are awesome. drive to pdor in amys car was interesting. the guy next to us kept looking in her car and at one point swerved because he wasnt looking out the front and so we had to swerve so we wouldnt die. so it was amys 1st day driving in 2 months, but still. people are so stupid. andy behind us was like "what the heck is going on?!" and i have resolved never to drive on route 9 unless i really have to, because my parents found a way for me to drive to pdor without going on route 9. yay. prozdor today, not so much fun. saw everyone....but thats about it. uhhh... watching mulan now. since its AMAZING. so i must go. adios....hasta luego...

so update on life:
BECKY MOREY came to visit, yay! kind of random, but hey i'll take it! went out to dinner for steph's birthday w/some amazing pdor people and then hung out. and slept. i know, exciting. we actually slept at a sleepover. well, after becky and i talked about bus d for like an hour. then, came home and had dance. YAY WE FINISHED OUR DANCE! aaand we have these wicked cool bugles that ACTUALLY make noise. i think theyre kazoos in disguise - its pretty cool. and then tommorrow at pdor i get to teach beginning hebrew students fro 15 minutes con brandon about the word "et" could be a disaster, but could also be fun. and i get out of a hebrew sub, which is amazing. and that would be all. chillin at home tonight with mi madre cuz dad and brother are at the ncaa hockey east finals at the garden. BU v. BC. whoooo! don't even know who i want to win - but is should be a great game. so mommy and i are watching movies and eating chinese food. score. and jessica and all my buddies at heschel convention should be calling shortly.

sunday and today defintely made my entire week. prozdor - in hebrew we watched this wicked weird israeli movie with no subtitles about some guy from an insane asylum or "sanitorium" as they called it except in hebrew deciding to randomly dig a canal in the middle of a tel aviv street...and then he thinks hes married to his drill thing...so Weird. but amazing. then sat tutor, ehh. thennn, delivered shalach manot to old people. jon almost got us lost going in a straight line because boys do not know how to follow directions. and then i had to talk to old people and im so impatient. but they were SO glad to see us, it was awesome. we gave one lady the bag and she was like "is thathamataschen for me?" and we were like "yeah..of course...happy purim!" and then she said "thats so many! I CAN SHARE WITH EVERYONE!" it was the cutest thing EVER. oh man. today school forever, i totally missed the point of my spoon river person....so yeah that wasnt good. then walked to temple for the purim carnival. hectic major. worked making cotton candy with my favorite usy boys for 4 hours. i dont think i want to see cotton candy at least until next purim. it was everywhere - on my clothing, my hands, my hair....and we got to eat all of the reject ones aka the ones we screwed up making. freee foood! soooo much fun, but rather disgusting by the end. and i got to spend some quality time with the susy boys, aliza, and shoshana. then dance- we finished jazz! i mean, thats incredible. competition on april 1st..can't wait! anyway, thats my life for now.

so today i went driving con mi padre and i went on the highway. exciting, i know! and i was doing SO WELL until as i was turning around a culdusac on REEVE ROAD i ran over one of those stupid new curbs that the town of sharon likes so much and sliced the tire. its so beyond repairable, its kind of funny. and i thought people in sharon were smart enough to figure out that a squared curb could be DANGEROUS and could wreck peoples' tires. but nope, i was wrong.

just watched empire of the sun - quite good. aand as an unexpected surprise - ben stiller was in it. it was amazing. and last night i finally saw the end of titanic. i remember when it first came out and i was in 3rd grade and how tragic it was for everyone that jack died at the end. i hadnt even seen the movie, so i didnt really get it... but i guess for a 3rd grade girl leonardo dicaprio dying was like the worst thing that could possibly happen. kind of funny. and its sad to think how pretty he was in that movie - and 10 years later hes old and kind of not as pretty. but still...ohhh man. i really have this weird fascination with the real titanic - we went to see the exhibit a lot of yrs ago and i had to look at every single artifact. i think i should be one of those people who explores shipwrecks - because i really like old boats.

pdor and sat tutor tommorrow. then delivering old people baskets with jon and josh...and then setting up for the purim carnival. blech.

okay, im going to watch another movie now. because lately, instead of tv ive been really into movies. well, hasta luego.

so what an amazing weekend.

all i have to say is i love anna kaufman, bus d, benjamin the not-so-scary scary dog, the newsies, dani's sketchy emails, pictures, reading, bunk beds, crazy red sunglasses, pizza, electric pepper grinders, christian bale, prozdor graduation photos, hebrew day, weird hebrew shorts, pantomimas with eve and shellie, apples to apples, and usy.

i miss all my bus d people...i wish i could have gone to the israeli dance festival at MIT and then i could have seen EVERYONE, not just my fellow dork. but still, was so much fun. can't wait till the rev war reenactment in april....yes for getting up at 3 in the morning to watch people fake kill themselves. it should be amazing.

not so much to say, but have to update. sort of good week, havent really done much in school...

except i def decided that shaun white is number one on my "list of people i could hook up with and my bf couldnt get mad." one day at lunch thats what we talked about. cool, huh? and sorry meg, but theo epstein is not hot, no matter what you say. not so sure about that papelbon guy either....hahahaha.

hmm, def enjoyed watching movies in spanish class the last 2 days. much fun.

amazing weekend planned! spending all of tommorrow and sleeping over in good ol' historic lexington. it should be pretty sweet. especially since my museum buddy is coming to visit us new englanders. emanuel event tomorrow too, so thats also amazing.

tons of hw. ick. i hate spoon river anthology and drawing pictures.

and i registered for the sats today. god help me, its so close. collegeboard.com has a countdown.
